Social event: Carrera racing
The Carrera Racing event, organized on the 8th of May 2014 turned out to be not only a very nice get-together of 13 colleagues but also a very interesting competition. After a short training session, in order to get used to driving of the slot cars and get in mood of racing, we soon discovered real talents among us. The big slot car racing facility consists of five different lanes with corresponding car models. Every participant had to drive each car/lane for 4 minutes and at the end, all rounds have been taken into account when determining the winners of the race.
From the race management center, a short award ceremony was organized and everyone did receive a certificate. While Pauline has been the best female driver, Daniel, Leo and Harald won the first 3 places but all others participants being not far behind.
All in one, it was a very nice evening, meeting new people, seeing old friends and having fun. We are looking forward for the next event which may come soon…
